EN | Apolline. From the Greek "apellos", which arouses, inspires creation!

We are delighted to present the first monographic recording dedicated to a young Belgian composer whom we are following closely: Apolline Jesupret. Lueurs is a mirror of our society. Drawing inspiration from both nature and the tragic upheavals of history, her often surprising music questions our place as human beings in a world that is accelerating and sometimes overtaking us.

These fascinating compositions are made up of vibrations and oscillations at multiple speeds, like myriad breaths, each with its own virtue. Like tender glances at the things of life, this music is bursting with innovation and optimism!

The musicians of Musiques Nouvelles and the Ensemble Hopper made no mistake and brilliantly defend the music of a composer who has not finished making us hear it!

C'est avec un réel bonheur que nous présentons le premier enregistrement monographique dédié à une jeune
compositrice belge que nous suivons de près : Apolline Jesupret. Lueurs se présente comme un miroir de notre société. S’inspirant à la fois de la nature et des soubresauts tragiques de l’histoire, sa musique, souvent surprenante, nous questionne sur notre place en tant qu’être humain dans un monde qui s’accélère et parfois nous dépasse.

Ces compositions fascinantes sont faites de vibrations et d’oscillations aux vitesses multiples comme des myriades
de respirations possédant chacune sa vertu. Telles des regards attendris sur les choses de la vie, cette musique regorge d’innovation et d’optimisme !

Les musiciens de Musiques Nouvelles et de l'Ensemble Hopper ne s'y sont pas trompés et défendent avec brio la musique d'une compositrice qui n'a pas fini de nous en faire entendre !
